J.K. Hage III, Esq. is the son of founding attorney James J. Hage. J.K. is the managing member of Hage & Hage LLC and is of counsel to Lukas, La Furia, Lantor & Sachs LLP, a communications law and engineering firm, formerly of Washington D.C., now located in Tysons, VA. As a business developer, J.K. has achieved great success in various business ventures. He founded Independent Wireless One Corporation (aka U.S. Unwired), a national Sprint PCS affiliate, and was the organizer and the first Executive Director of the Griffiss Institute, a market-driven national collaboration of industry, the academy and government dedicated to applied research, training and services in information security. J.K. has long experience as a real estate developer with an emphasis on sustainable construction. J.K. also is an entrepreneurial activist investor in both private and public equity. J.K. has extensive personal experience on public, private, profit, and nonprofit boards and management teams.

Jonathan Dillon, Esq.

Jonathan Dillon, Esq. — Utica, NY — Hage & Hage LLC
Jonathan Dillon is a lifelong resident of Clinton, New York, who joined our firm in August 2016. Jonathan obtained his undergraduate degree from St. John Fisher College and graduated from Albany Law School with his colleague, Gabriel Hage.
 
Prior to joining Hage & Hage, Jonathan volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York, Inc. where he defended property owners in foreclosure actions, the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office Appeals Unit and the City of Cohoes Building and Planning Department where he wrote the City’s Historic District Code. Jonathan’s areas of expertise are business organizations, corporate governance, public utility law, real property law, solar power transactions, trusts and estates law, and municipal law.

In his free time, you can catch Jonathan at the Skenandoa Golf Club or in the Adirondacks at his family camp.

Gabriel J. Hage, Esq.

Gabriel J. Hage — Utica, NY — Hage & Hage LLC

 Gabriel Hage, son of managing member, J.K. Hage III, and grandson of founder, James J. Hage. Born in Utica, NY, Gabriel attended Hamilton College and Albany Law School. Before joining our firm, Gabriel diversified his professional experiences as he worked as an 8th grade English teacher and After School Coordinator at a public school located in Queens, NY, interned at the Albany Office of Child and Family Services, the Research Foundation of the State University of New York, and the New York State Education Department Charter School’s Office, and worked as a Compliance Officer at Trustco Bank in Albany, NY. In addition to his work as an attorney, Gabriel engages with the Mohawk Valley community by playing recreational Ultimate Frisbee, he serves as the current President of the Board of Trustees of the Utica Public Library and is on the Board of Directors of the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce. 

 

Gabriel’s areas of expertise include trademark law, real property law, cannabis law, copyright law, municipal law, contract law, and business law. He also provides legal services for a wide variety of charitable entities such as libraries, land banks and not-for-profit corporations.
